Summer Fayre at Toft Hill was a great success with the weather being quite kind to us........

Ark On The Edge

On our adoption page we have listed the current costs involved in making sure that a cat/kitten goes to a new home in peak condition.

We still have cats and kittens waiting for a new home and over 28 lots of cats waiting to come in from our waiting list. So please if you can give a home to an unwanted animal give us a call.

We have had a big increase in rabbits so anyone wanting rabbits please contact us. Some have come in with hutches so they come as a complete package. Do contact us if you can help.

Thankyou for all your help and support during the year. This has been the worst year for all charities especially anything to do with animals. These seem to be the first thing to go. Intake has gone up and donations have gone down, so every little helps us at the moment.

We have donation bins in Morrisons and the Co-op in Barnard Castle so if you can spare a little please just pop something in the bins.

Sainsburys is still supplying us with bread on a Wednesday and now a sunday and it is very welcome especially at this time of year.

We would also like to say a very big thankyou to our handful of volunteers who play a very big part in helping Ark on the Edge to survive over this very stressful period. They give up their time to make our events successful and to make sure that any animal is looked after to a high degree and given the very best attention.
